The only problem is that Mondassur did not take my American Express card, and did not advise of that fact, making it difficult to complete enrollment.

MONDassur Europe Access policies fulfill the requirements for a long stay visa to France (and the rest of the Shengen). It was amazingly easy to sign up for. Furthermore, an agent contacted us after we filled out the initial form. Rita was VERY helpful and answered all our questions in English. We easily added another family member. Finally, we had our insurance certificates only seconds after paying the premium, including our cards. I can only assume that using the insurance during our long stay in France will be equally smooth and easy. So far, I very highly recommend MONDassur.
