Our history

Our activity began in 2001 with the development of insurance for the United States on our EuropUSA website, for a clientele of expatriates, students, professionals and travelers in the United States. The United States is one of the most demanding countries in terms of insurance, given the high cost of medical expenses and the non-existence of a public health insurance system.

Having lived and traveled in many countries abroad (USA, Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Philippines, Japan, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Russia…etc.), we have found that one of the biggest difficulties is finding expatriate or travel insurance that is adapted to the country, duration of stay and situation.

That’s why our aim is to give you the best possible advice on the wide range of international insurance contracts available, depending on the country you’re visiting, the length of your stay and the purpose of your trip.

Building on this experience, we have extended our activities worldwide , notably via our website www.mondassur.com, and now insure thousands of individuals and salaried or self-employed professionals worldwide every year, with over fifty insurance policies specializing in international health and social protection for all nationalities.

We now insure many expatriates, international students, tourists and globetrotters in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia-Oceania withexpatriate, travel and providentinsurance policies.

We have developed our business in France to offer a complete range of products for impatriates (foreigners in France), providing them with quality contracts for medical cover, life insurance and home insurance, in particular via the website France- insurance for foreigners living in France. As a result, we offer our internationally mobile customers a comprehensive range of insurance policies offering excellent value for money.

In line with this dynamic international expansion, Mondassur has opened a new office in Thailand to support its customers in Asia.
This local assistance office will play an essential role in supporting our policyholders and partners on the ground.

The main missions of this entity will be :

– Claims management and the provision of local customer service for more responsive and personalized follow-up.

– Collaboration with local hospitals and partners, to ensure better medical care for our policyholders and strengthen our network of providers in Thailand.

This new facility marks a new strategic step in our drive to offer an ever closer service to our customers and partners, by responding to local specificities while retaining our global expertise in international health insurance.
