Back to school is fast approaching and as every year you will have to prepare to give your best to ensure your success. Because good resolutions are made throughout the year, we have set ours to encourage you in this new ordeal.

1. Storage

Before you start the year you will have to clean up the previous year, because the most important thing is to start this year with serenity. To do this, you will have to empty your furniture, sort your old courses and prepare your supports for the new year.

2. Playing sports

Studying involves physical inactivity, stress, fatigue. To combat these negative symptoms we invite you to play sports. You will then feel relieved and you will be able to approach this year in better physical conditions.

3. Taking care of your health

Before you return, take the time to do a medical check-up. We are fortunate to live in a country that allows for free medical check-ups open to all adults over the age of 16. For more information: see themedicare website

4. Grow to better anticipate your return to school

Summer is not over yet and you still have time todeepen your personal knowledge. All means are good, tablet sypers, newspapers, internet, but also good old books that take dust by still hanging around your library.

5. Manage your budget to get the start of the new year

As every year you will start your training with a small money raised by you over the years or from your seasonal work. Back-to-school starts with unavoidable expenses that you’re going to have to manage. To do this, we advise you to take a sheet in order toestablish your spending items. This way, you’ll have a clearer view of your budget and your goal will be to stick to it.

6. Maintain your networks

In your personal life and especially in your professional life, knowing how to surround yourself with the right people is an inseparable quality of your success. Take advantage of your holiday to update your social networks such as Linkedin, Facebook, Viadeo…
This advice is important for those who will have to find an internship by the end of the year. Professional social networks are weapons that are becoming increasingly important in a digitally oriented society.

7. Perfect your level of English

The use of the English language is unavoidable so take advantage of your free time to fine-tune it. For this, you can listen to the radio such as the BBC which offers various programs, but you can (must) also watch your TV series in original version with subtitles.

8. Prepare your administrative documents

Depending on your family situation, you will have more or less papers to fill out in order to qualify for aids (CAF – CROUS Student Scholarships). We advise you toanticipate by taking the necessary steps so as not to waste your time at the time of the start of the school year.

We know that the hardest part is complying with all these new resolutions. If you don’t feel big, select some and try to stick to them.
