Find the testimony of globetrotters: Amine and Ghita, two Moroccans who travel the world with their backpacks.
A little presentation?
Amine and Ghita Backpackers is a Moroccan couple in love with travel. AG for Amine and Ghita. We celebrated on the road 30 and 28 years respectively.
What is your career path?
Amine studied Telecom Engineering in France with 6 years of experience with mobile operators. Ghita studied business in France and then in the United Kingdom with 3 years of experience in an American consulting firm in information systems.
Why did you go around the world?
And why not? We love travel, discoveries and encounters. Besides we traveled a lot before this round the world. We always wanted to go away for several months and go around the world and we talked about it for 2 or 3 years before we made the decision to do so.
Which country did you prefer? What for?
It is very difficult to answer that question, but if we have to choose only one country, we will say India. India for its culture, traditions and people. Just go out on the street, every day is a new story.
Have you had any doubts, and how have you managed them?
We had doubts about our plans that we were able to manage easily over time. We stopped planning so we had no doubts.
What is your best travel memory?
Our best memory is the wedding of an Indian friend in Thailand. We had a daydream for 3 days in a 5-star hotel.
A review today: what has this world tour brought you?
This world tour has allowed us not only to open ourselves up to other cultures and traditions, to meet new people and create new friendships, but also to create a certain complicity in our relationship.
Something else to add?
If you like dating, sharing and discoveries, give yourself the means to travel over a long period of time. The experience of a long-term trip is completely different from a 2- or 3-week vacation. You will experience different and magical moments. You will be satisfied with few things and that is what makes the charm of the trip.
