Quelle assurance voyage pour les Etats-Unis ?
Remember to have travel insurance to leave with peace of mind. Indeed, good health coverage will allow you to avoid financial and legal complications in the event of an accident. You must subscribe to a purchaser that covers you up to 200,000 euros given the high medical cost in the USA. It is better to pay a few tens of euros before your departure rather than find yourself paying sometimes astronomical sums in the event of an accident in the United States. Mondassur accompanies you to choose travel insurance in the USA and advises you on the offers most suited to your situation and your needs. Once all the formalities are completed with in particular theESSENTIAL ESTA for people travelling without a visa or green card (including European tourists…), you are on board for the United States!

When to go to the United States?
To visit the United States, the best time is autumn or early spring. Autumn is the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful colours of New England. In the southern states, the summer is hot and humid in most of the country. The Southern California coast is pleasant all year round, but if you want to enjoy the beach, it’s best to go between June and September.
Depending on how long you stay there, you will probably have the opportunity to see the country in different colors and different landscapes… Be careful, however, to respect the deadline of your visa! In addition, we offer compatible Covid insurance that will allow you to leave with a quiet heart, wherever you go in the USA, and regardless of the length of your stay. Don’t hesitate to contact us to find out which insurance to choose in the USA!

Comment voyager aux USA ?
If you decide to go on a road trip to the United States, several means of locomotion will be available to you, depending on your budget. Beware, however, that the United States is a federal republic and the rules are therefore different from one state to another: the same applies to the costs of care. If you have an accident in one state, the costs may be significantly higher in the other. That’s why we encourage you to take out comprehensive travel insurance, so you don’t find yourself in difficult situations. Ask for a quote for travel insurance,it’s free!
La voiture
Before you decide to go on a road trip to the USA, make sure you are in good standing and that your French licence will be accepted by the authorities. We encourage you to take steps to obtain an international permit, which is much better tolerated in the U.S. and around the world as a rule. In addition, it is not possible for people under the age of 21 to drive with a car rental company.
The car can be an efficient and relatively economical means of transport compared to the aircraft or trains. And even if you’re travelling long distances, you’re enjoying the scenery and have the freedom to stop in incongruous places you could never have discovered other than by chance! There are also a number of applications on the market that let you know where the cheapest gas station is located.
Le train
The main railway company, Amtrak, has set up a pass allowing you to benefit from rail transport networks over a certain period of time and at a fixed price (a bit like the Eurail pass in Europe). At $449 in starting price, the investment can be well depreciated if you choose to travel long distances and often stop from one city to another, taking only the train to get around.
Le bus
Often underestimated, Greyhound lines are a great way to travel long distances while enjoying the scenery. Tickets are affordable and you can also benefit from discounts if you are studying in the USA. Finally, there are some stops where you can drop off your luggage for 24 hours, time to visit a little and explore new places. It’s enough to make a lot of memories!
So, ready for adventure? All you have to do is ask us for travel insurance for your road trip!
