Mandatory vaccination
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for all travellers over one year of age.
Recommended vaccination
For adults, don't forget your vaccinations: Tetanus, Polio, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and for those people at risk: Tuberculosis, Rabies.
For children, don't forget the vaccinations: Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Polio, Tuberculosis, Measles, German Measles, Mumps, Hepatitis A & B, (1, long stay), Typhoid (1, long stay for those over 5 years old).

When to go?
Gabon has one big dry season from June to September and a little one from mid-December to Mid-January. These days are the best moments to visit the country.

Food and drinks
Hygienic problems variable in restaurants, markets and shops. Avoid tap water. Better to consume local bottled water : Andza (1, comes from Bateke).
Best places to go
